Stop doing "stuff". Start moving forward.
Ever have times where you're like, "Dude, what am I even doing?"
You spent the whole day doing stuff...but don't really know what it was.
Or you spent the whole day doing stuff...when you really should have been doing other stuff.
And at the end, all that "doing" ends up feeling like it didn't make a difference in getting you where you want and need go.
(Ugh, the worst - wasted "doing." What a drain on mind and body.)
Example: You woke up and got a wild hair to reorganize the pantryâwhen reeeally you were supposed to be finding qualified and trustworthy roofers to fix that one leak that just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
So maybe you get a little twinge of satisfaction looking at all those neat little rows of cans and newly repackaged dry goods...
...But the bigger, more critical issue is still looming. After being pushed off. Again.
And now when you look back at those neat little rows, it's a reminder of that important thing you didn't do. Ick.
So one of the things I want to talk to you about today is the importance of the pause. An intentional pause.
A pause that says, "Okay, I don't know why I feel compelled to do this random stuff, but I need to get focused on what matters."
(âŹď¸ Btw, watch instead of reading, or read on below.)

So if you could use a guided pause to get that "ick" feeling out of the pit of your stomach, my Momentum Reset workshop is happening next week on September 10th!
Join us here for Momentum Reset
We're going to help make sure you're spending your energy where it needs to beâtaking you toward the things you want and need most in life.
I'm not saying other stuff you're doing isn't important. It may very well be.
But is it taking you in the direction of your dreams?
Here's another example: Maybe it's not your home life that's distracting you. Maybe it's those silly tasks at work.
Maaaybe you're spending too much time cleaning out your inbox? (Sound familiar? đ)
When we don't have a clear planâand a clear whyâwe fall back to wasting time on less meaningful things.
We allow random things in our lives to fill space. Space where we should really be doing something else.
And that takes us in the opposite direction of where we want to go.
So if you find yourself doing things, but don't feel like you're taking ground on anything meaningful, consider taking a Momentum Reset with me.
Get 6 hours of live, in-person coachingâme and you, and a room full of others also trying to figure out how to go in the direction of their dreams.
- We're going to find clarity.
- We're going to define your "why." (i.e. what makes you say "screw the pantry" and want to do the right stuff)
- You're going to figure out exactly what you need to focus on.
- And I'm gonna show you how to make sure your day-to-day actions are taking you in the direction of your dreams.
I'd love to see you in that room, but more importantly, if there's something you're stuck on right now and you're like, "Hey, how do I get unstuck from this?" - please reply. I LOVE helping people get unstuck.
See you next week?
