Doing life and winning (even when it's messy)

My Voxer channel has been blowing up with client wins recently.

It makes me smile so big, because I know what it feels like to finally get to walk through a door you’ve been pushing against for a while.

...Or to clear a hurdle and realize it was the support YOU CHOSE to get, that helped you get to the other side.

But here's the thing I really want you to hear:

Some of the most important wins happen in the middle of the MESS.

i.e. When you're too busy or distracted to notice, or fully appreciate.

(⬇️ Btw, watch instead of reading, or read on below.)

Doing life and winning (even when it's messy)

We often think we have to wait til the "perfect" time—until the house is quiet, the inbox is at zero, or the crisis has passed—to feel like we’re winning.

But if we wait for the dust to settle, we miss the beauty of the momentum we’re building right now.

This week alone, I’m celebrating clients who are winning while life is happening:

  • One client passed a financial services exam—one that a very small percentage of the world has ever done—and did it while still managing the rest of their busy world.

  • Another is navigating a hard situation with a family member in the hospital. Her "win" is because we’ve been working on delegation and systems, we're able to lighten her load so she has the 'permission' and space to be present where she should be right now.

  • Another is getting ready to head off on a cruise, and we've been exchanging lots of latenight voxes, getting things solidified and done so he can escape and fully enjoy his time away.

These people are building true life. Not just business success, but personal life...showing up where they want and need to be.

It reminded me about what a client told me a few months ago, "You know, I never really thought I enjoyed the holidays before, but for the first time, I'm actually getting into it."

It was because they had created space and structure in their life to actually enjoy the season - rather than it being just more stuff dumped on top of an already overwhelming to do list.

So many of us think we don’t like certain seasons of life, when the truth is we just haven’t had the support or the alignment to see the wins through the chaos.

When you stand in true alignment, you can take intentional steps that put you into momentum—even when things are messy.

So, I’d love to know: What is a win you’re experiencing right now, even in the middle of the mess?

Whether it’s a big milestone or just the fact that you breathed through a tough Tuesday, I wanna hear it. Reply and let me know what’s going well (or even where you’re feeling a little stuck). Let’s figure it out together.

Blessings,

Dawn

Small shifts that move the needle
Every now and then, someone asks, "Dawn, why are you so passionate about Momentum Reset? What actually happens in that room?" Fair question. From the outside, it might just look like another event on a busy calendar. But inside that room, it's completely different. We take a deep breath in, and a deep breath out. A compassionate pause from all the personal and professional noise that usually fi...
Why big to-do lists cause you to freeze
The weather dropped to 58 degrees the other day and right on cue, my brain went into overdrive. All of a sudden, I wasn't just enjoying a crisp morning—I was mentally inventorying my entire life for fall and winter. "I need to swap out my closet, buy sidewalk salt, get new windshield wiper blades on the car, check the tires..." Where did that even come from? One cool morning, and suddenly I’m h...
Constantly course-correcting got you tense?
I was doing a little highway-driving a couple of weeks ago. When I first got behind the wheel, everything felt easy. Smooth roads, fresh energy, cruising right along. But after some time on the road, I noticed I was having to apply extra pressure to keep the car centered in the lane. There wasn't even a strong wind—and pretty sure my car's in alignment—but nonetheless it kept subtly drifting. P...
