Are you keeping promises to yourself?

Have you ever stopped to look at how you actually spend your time?

I'm not talking about the scheduled appointments on your calendar with other people. I know you show up for those. You have integrity in those areas.

I’m talking about your integrity with yourself.

I'm talking about the commitments you made to your own goals, your projects, or your life at the start of this week, this month, or this year.

When I look at my own life, I constantly have to ask myself:

  • What does it look like for me to actually win?
  • What does it look like to live in alignment with the best version of myself?

So often when I sit down with people, they share that they are completely overextended. (Trust me, I have been in that exact space too.)

They don't feel like they’re winning in any area, or maybe a chronic sense of being "behind" is pulling them under.

They're caught in a spinning cycle of overwhelm, distraction, and decision fatigue, and they aren't sure how to regain control.

Look at it this way: If your calendar is packed but your personal goals are constantly being sidelined, it's time to interrupt that pattern.

(⬇️ Btw, watch instead of reading, or read on below.)

Are you keeping promises to yourself?

Think of it like hitting a patch of deep, thick mud while driving a side-by-side. If you keep pressing the gas the exact same way, your tires are just going to spin out. You aren't taking any ground.

To get out of the mud, you have to do something different. You have to shift into a lower gear, turn the tires, or let a trusted friend help pull you out.

So...let's pull you out.

This is exactly why I get so excited about our Momentum Reset workshop. It’s an intentional, 6-hour pause to clear away the noise, breathe, and evaluate what's really happening internally and externally.

Now, I can hear some of you already:

“But Dawn, you just talked about overwhelm, and now you're telling me I need to give up 6 hours?”

I hear you. But let’s name that resistance for what it is without an ounce of judgment.

YOU get to decide how to steward your energy.

You are not “giving up” time; you are investing six hours in yourself. I want you to stop believing the lie that if you pause, your entire world will collapse.

The reality? When you take this pause, your life gets its structure, clarity, and frame back.

Because clarity isn't optional if you want to build something steady and sustainable.

We have two ways for you to build this sustainable momentum, tailored to fit your real life:

  • In-Person (St. Louis Area): Spend a full day live in a room with me. We’ll have lunch together, clear away the noise, and you'll leave with your next 3 months mapped out into doable, actionable steps.
  • Online Option: Take a structured pause of 2 hours a day over 3 days with me online. We’ll clear away the noise, and you'll leave with your next 3 months mapped out into doable, actionable steps.

You Don't Have to Navigate This Alone

If you're feeling stuck, scattered, or unsure of which direction to turn, please hear me: you are not alone.

It doesn't matter if you’re a seasoned business owner, another coach, or a parent navigating life at home. Progress happens faster when we are supported, establish a grounded structure, and create simple habit stacks that change our trajectory.

If you're ready to stop spinning and start moving forward with intention, join me for a Momentum Reset! Let's link arms and do this together.

Love doing life with you,

Dawn

Constantly course-correcting got you tense?
I was doing a little highway-driving a couple of weeks ago. When I first got behind the wheel, everything felt easy. Smooth roads, fresh energy, cruising right along. But after some time on the road, I noticed I was having to apply extra pressure to keep the car centered in the lane. There wasn't even a strong wind—and pretty sure my car's in alignment—but nonetheless it kept subtly drifting. P...
Stop treating future tasks as immediate priorities
Ever felt like you have 47 open tabs running in your brain, all demanding your full attention at the same time?  If so, you're in good company. Almost every leader and business professional I’ve spoken with over the last few weeks is feeling that same mental drag.  I compare this to being an air traffic controller. (Instead of 47 tabs, those are 47 planes in the air.) Air traffic controllers st...
Are you stuck in "Ready, Aim, Aim, Aim" mode?
Do you find yourself endlessly tweaking projects? Or waiting for the "perfect" time to launch a new initiative? Or over-analyzing a decision until you are completely paralyzed? You've no doubt heard the phrase "Ready, Aim, Fire" before. But a lot of us often fall into a different pattern. We get so focused on getting it exactly right that we end up stuck in "Ready, Aim, Aim, Aim" mode. We keep ...
