Constantly course-correcting got you tense?
I was doing a little highway-driving a couple of weeks ago. When I first got behind the wheel, everything felt easy. Smooth roads, fresh energy, cruising right along.
But after some time on the road, I noticed I was having to apply extra pressure to keep the car centered in the lane.
There wasn't even a strong wind—and pretty sure my car's in alignment—but nonetheless it kept subtly drifting.
Plus, the road conditions were changing, with dips and bumps, and I was constantly having to adjust.
By the time I got to my destination, I was completely drained.
And here’s why: Constant course-correcting is exhausting.

When you’re spending all your focus and stamina making micro-adjustments just to stay between the lines, you don't get the benefit of just cruising along.
No ease. No momentum.
You're just reacting.
Using so much energy just trying not to drift into the rumble strip.
That’s what happens to so many of us as the year goes by.
In January, we launch out of the gate with fresh tires and big energy.
But now?
We’re past the midpoint, rounding the final turns of Q3, and looking right down the stretch into Q4. Even if you’re still in it to win it—and I know you are—the road conditions and state of your vehicle have no doubt changed.
If you don't pause to address why you're drifting, you’ll spend the next few months white-knuckling the wheel, burning energy just trying to stay straight instead of actually taking ground.
So let me ask you: Where are you exhausting yourself by constantly course-correcting right now?
Where are you using all your energy just to hold the line?
If you’re feeling that subtle drift, give yourself permission to take a pause. You don't need to push harder or grip tighter; you need a reset.
You need to pull into a rest stop, clear out the noise, check your alignment, and put the right structures back around you so you can get where you want to go.
If you're ready to stop white-knuckling and get back into true alignment, I’d love to walk with you inside our upcoming Momentum Reset.
It’s the dedicated space we build for you to step out of that reactive headspace, refocus your vision, and set your strategy.
Our LIVE event is sold out, but you can still run with us at Momentum Reset ONLINE. I’ll livestream directly to your desk--we'll meet online over lunch in 2 hour sessions, spread out over 3 days.
Or, let's do a Pick-My-Brain session together or connect on a private Business Planning Clinic—I'll help make sure you’re set up to roll.
It’s not too late to stop the drift. Let's link arms and finish the year strong together.
Love doing life with you,
Dawn
P.S. Reply to this email and tell me: where are you feeling the exhaustion of course-correcting right now? I’d love to hear where you're at.
